Parking Sensors

Parking/Reverse Sensors
Thanks to parking sensors, obstructions are no longer a danger when you park your car.
This safeguards the vehicle, the obstacles and particularly any bystanders behind the car.
The driver is warned of any obstructions by means of acoustic signals and warning lights.

The discomforts that drivers are increasingly forced to face are:
When you engage the reverse gear, a beep signals that the sensor has activated. Any obstacle detected is indicated by an intermittent beep signal which increases in frequency until it becomes a continuous sound as the vehicle moves near to the obstacle itself.

Continuous signalling zone: This is the zone nearest to the mudguards (up to about 30 cm).
The Parking Sensor system detects obstacles and gives an unbroken acoustic signal whether the vehicle is at a standstill or moving.

Static zone: This is the intermediate zone (up to about 120 cm). The system detects obstacles and gives an intermittent acoustic signal even when the vehicle is at a standstill.

Dynamic zone: This is the most distant zone (up to about 200 cm). The system  detects obstacles but only gives an intermittent acoustic signal if the vehicle is moving
